New details revealed about F-16 crash in Ukraine

Ukrainian military could have shot down their own F-16 fighter in August 2024 because it was not connected to the Link 16 tactical communication system used by NATO countries.
As reported by Baku.ws, this is written by Wall Street Journal editorial board member Jillian Melchior, citing sources.
According to their information, the American fighter jet transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine was not equipped with the necessary equipment to connect to the Link 16 system, which, among other things, "serves as an IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) system for ground-based air defense." The mentioned tactical communication system, the article notes, "shows all users in real-time, including ground-based air defense systems, command posts, and aircraft.
The Pentagon refused to disclose to the publication information about whether the American fighter shot down in Ukraine was connected to Link 16.
