Former Defense Minister of Armenia has been assigned a preventive measure

A travel restriction has been chosen as a preventive measure against the head of the opposition faction "Armenia" of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Armenian media, this was announced by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

He has been charged under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia: abuse of official powers, accepting bribes, money laundering, and entering false data in income declarations.

Earlier, the Armenian parliament stripped S.Ohanyan of his parliamentary immunity.
