Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei stated that the midterm elections in the US will not lead to a change in American policy toward Tehran.
This was reported by Al Arabiya.
He also warned Washington of a larger-scale response in the event of a new military attack on the Islamic Republic.
According to Khamenei, it is a mistake to count on improved relations due to a change in political forces in the US or concessions from Iran. He emphasized that the confrontation with Washington does not depend on which party is in power.
The Iranian leader also spoke about the situation in the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, recent events have shown that the American armed forces are not invincible, and states relying on external military support remain vulnerable.
