New details revealed about footballer Jota's death in a car accident

Portuguese footballer Diogo Jota was behind the wheel at the time of the fatal accident. This is reported by the newspaper El Confidencial, citing data from the Spanish Civil Guard.

One of the main versions of the causes of the accident was speeding. It is noted that the traffic department is studying traces at the scene of the tragedy.

The accident in which Jota died occurred on July 3 in the province of Zamora in western Spain. The forward was 28 years old. Together with Jota in the car was his brother Andre, who played for the Portuguese "Penafiel." He also did not survive. Both footballers burned in the car.
