Media: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Killed

Former President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad tragically died as a result of an armed attack.

As AzTV reports, the incident occurred in the center of Tehran. An unknown masked person attacked the ex-president during his walk with his family. It is reported that Ahmadinejad was accompanied by his wife and two sons when he was shot by the attacker.

The circumstances of the incident and the identity of the shooter are currently being investigated.
