The non-obvious summer danger in the bedroom revealed

Therapist and somnologist Sita Shah revealed an unexpected health threat that may be lurking in the bedroom during hot weather. In an interview with Metro, the expert warned against a common morning habit.
According to the specialist, the desire to make the bed immediately after waking up can lead to serious health consequences. Shah explained that during the night, sweat and dead skin particles inevitably get onto the bedding due to the body's natural heat production. "In hot weather, this effect is intensified," the doctor emphasized.
The somnologist warns: a hastily made bed creates ideal conditions for the reproduction of microbes and allergens - a warm and humid environment under the blanket. To avoid this problem, Shah recommends a simple but effective solution: "Leave the duvet cover or sheet folded at the foot of the bed, open the windows, ventilate the bedroom and wait 30-60 minutes."
The expert also gave additional recommendations for sleep hygiene during the summer period. She advises preferring bedding made from natural materials, which better handles moisture, and adhering to the rule of weekly washing of bedding.
