President of Azerbaijan received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey

On September 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan.

As reported by AZERTAC, Hakan Fidan conveyed greetings from President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the head of our state.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to Recep Tayyip Erdogan as well.

During the conversation, the successful development of Azerbaijani-Turkish fraternal relations and strategic alliance in all areas was emphasized, and the further strengthening of cooperation based on the principle of "one nation, two states" was noted with satisfaction.

The importance of cooperation in the energy sector was discussed, and an exchange of views took place on new ways of entering international markets in the field of alternative energy.

The significance of our countries from a logistical standpoint was emphasized, including their role as an important bridge between Europe and Asia, and the importance of coordinating activities within the framework of international organizations was noted.
