Man named a cancer symptom he ignored for a month

A 47-year-old man who decided to lose weight used a weight loss drug and "missed the early signs of a devastating tumor," reports Daily Mail.
"Doctors mistook these signals for side effects of the weight loss medication," said the British man, who was eventually diagnosed with late-stage bowel cancer.
Specifically, the "side effects" of the drug were said to include nausea and difficulties with bowel movements - the intestines stopped working normally.
It is reported that the man shared his story on Reddit, leaving a review for patients taking this weight loss drug. The Briton urged people not to ignore alarming changes in their bodies.
"The medication masked the true cause of the weight loss. Looking back, I realize there were warning signs. I raised them with my doctor, but even he dismissed them as side effects," lamented the 47-year-old man, whose name was not disclosed.
He said that he decided to try the weight loss drug when he weighed 121 kilograms. In two months, he lost 14 kilograms. One morning, the man "didn't recognize himself" - the weight began to drop even faster than before. This continued even after he stopped taking the drug.
"Even before these experiments, I ignored the 'red flag,' I didn't pay attention to the fact that for almost a month I couldn't have normal bowel movements while losing weight. There was no pain, no discomfort - just nothing," the man recalls.
