Trump is negotiating the deployment of American PMCs in Ukraine
US President Donald Trump is negotiating with European countries about the possibility of deploying American private military companies (PMCs) in Ukraine as part of a long-term peace plan.
This is reported by the British newspaper Telegraph, citing sources. The plan is being developed as a way to help strengthen Ukraine's defense.
"American private military companies could be deployed in Ukraine as part of a long-term peace plan. Donald Trump is negotiating with European allies to allow armed contractors to help build fortifications to protect American interests in the country," the publication says.
According to the publication, PMCs may participate in rebuilding Ukraine's defense line, creating new bases, and protecting American enterprises. The decision is being considered as a workaround after Trump's alleged promise not to deploy US troops on Ukrainian territory.
