Zelensky extended mobilization and martial law until the end of January 2027
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees extending martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days - until January 29, 2027.
The documents were published on the website of the President of Ukraine.
This is already the 21st extension of both regimes since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
During martial law, military-liable men aged 18 to 60 must be registered with the military at their place of residence or stay and promptly update their personal data in the Unified State Register.
They are also required to carry a passport and military registration document in paper or electronic form, as well as to report to territorial recruitment centers or training centers within the established deadlines.
Men aged 25 to 60 who are deemed fit for health reasons and have no legal grounds for deferment are subject to mandatory mobilization.
Men aged 18 to 25 can be mobilized only in cases provided by law - if they are reserve officers or have previously completed mandatory military service. In all other cases, they may enlist voluntarily.
