On October 26, the opening of the "Khynysly" nursery-kindergarten took place in the city of Shamakhy.

As reported by AZERTAC, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Alyona Aliyeva participated in the opening ceremony and familiarized themselves with the conditions created.

This preschool educational institution, built by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, is designed for 110 places. It has dormitories in separate buildings for girls and boys, as well as group rooms, a computer science room and a medical station, music and gymnastics halls, a cloakroom and a dining hall.

The preschool institution is fully equipped with the necessary furniture and equipment, and the group rooms are provided with visual aids.

Gazebos have been installed for children's recreation, and a playground with play attractions has been set up.

The head of the nursery-kindergarten, Saida Zakhidova, reported that the old kindergarten building, constructed in 1969, had fallen into a state of disrepair, which necessitated a new building. In the new nursery-kindergarten, children will be taught and educated in six groups.

State programs for the construction of new preschool institutions and the reconstruction of existing ones are being implemented in our country. The development of this sector is also at the center of constant attention of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Since 2014, the Foundation has been implementing the "Development of Preschool Educational Institutions" program, contributing to the education and upbringing of children. The program covers not only the capital but also the country's regions, including the Shamakhy district. In recent years, a number of new nursery-kindergartens and schools have been built and put into operation in Shamakhy.
