Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister spoke about the timeline for signing an agreement with Armenia
The Armenian side names different deadlines for signing a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, however Baku is always ready to put an end to this issue.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov stated this at a briefing in Baku with his Dutch counterpart Tom Berendsen.
According to the minister, the Azerbaijani side closely monitors all statements by Armenian officials on this topic and records them.
"I would like to emphasize once again that Azerbaijan's position on this issue is firm and clear. Over the past year, the Azerbaijani side has taken numerous unilateral steps, and Armenia, like everyone else, could see this," Bayramov said.
The minister noted that certain processes are taking place within Armenia, and that amending the Constitution serves the interests of the Armenian authorities themselves for a number of reasons.
"Ultimately, Azerbaijan is always ready to put an end to the issue of the peace agreement (to sign a peace treaty) and remains committed to this process," the Foreign Minister emphasized.
