Ilham Aliyev congratulated Alexander Van der Bellen

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen.

As reported by AZERTAC, the message reads:

"Dear Mr. Federal President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and all your people my sincerest congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Austria.

The development of Azerbaijani-Austrian relations based on mutual respect is gratifying. I believe that the friendly relations between our countries, continuing to strengthen through joint efforts, will contribute to the expansion of our mutually beneficial cooperation.

On this memorable day, I wish you good health, happiness, and to the Austrian people — lasting well-being and prosperity."
