Ukraine confirmed the resumption of Starlink and Starshield operations without restrictions

In Ukraine, the operating speed of the Starlink and Starshield satellite systems has been restored to the levels recorded before the restrictions were imposed. This is of key importance for ensuring logistics on the front lines and countering jet strike drones.

This was written by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on his Telegram channel.

According to him, the restoration process began during the nighttime. By morning, the connection speed had reached a level sufficient for full-fledged use of satellite communications.

"The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield have resumed operating at the speed that existed before all these restrictions. Now the speed is as we need it," the head of state said.

The president emphasized that the operation of these systems plays a critical role for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In particular, uninterrupted satellite communication is a necessary condition for front-line logistics and the protection of Ukraine's territory from jet drones of the "Shahed" type.

In addition, in the morning V. Zelensky heard a report from Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara. Following the review, Kyiv officially confirmed that the Starlink and Starshield systems are functioning in normal operating mode.

The head of state expressed gratitude to the American side and Ukraine's partners, who treated the situation that arose with due seriousness and facilitated its resolution. V. Zelensky separately highlighted the contribution of U.S. congressmen and senators, the media, the State Department, and the president.
