Head of Nvidia Proposed Turning Kazakhstan into a Global Center for Physical AI
Jensen Huang, CEO of the American corporation Nvidia, proposed turning Kazakhstan into a global center for Physical Artificial Intelligence (Physical AI).
As reported by the press service of the President of Kazakhstan, he put forward this initiative on October 23 during a meeting with the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana.
Huang highly praised Tokayev's strategic goal of transforming Kazakhstan into an AI nation - a state focused on the development and widespread implementation of artificial intelligence.
The head of Nvidia emphasized that achieving success in this field requires specialists with deep knowledge in science, mathematics, and technology. He also noted the progress made over the past year in cooperation with Kazakhstani companies.
"We are developing partnerships with Kazakhstani companies, including Firebird AI KZ Ltd and Kazakhtelecom, and we also support Higgsfield - Kazakhstan's first technology unicorn, which has become a notable participant in the global technology ecosystem. I am very impressed and proud of the work we have done together," Huang said.
In turn, Tokayev thanked the head of Nvidia for his contribution to the development of the artificial intelligence ecosystem in Kazakhstan.
The President expressed confidence that the visit of the American corporation's head would give significant impetus to the further development of bilateral partnership.
