The Houthis confirmed the death of the head of the rebel government and several of his colleagues

The head of the government formed by Yemeni Houthis, Ahmed Galeb ar-Rahawi, was killed on Thursday as a result of an Israeli strike on Sanaa.
As TASS reports, this is stated in the official statement of the unrecognized presidential council, which governs the territory of Yemen under the control of the "Ansar Allah" movement.
According to the statement, "several of his fellow ministers" were killed along with the head of the Houthi government, whose names are not provided. In addition, some government members received moderate and severe injuries. They are currently undergoing treatment.
As reported by the Houthi-owned Saba agency, the chairman of the Supreme Political Council of the "Ansar Allah" movement, Mahdi al-Mashat, appointed Muhammad Miftah as the head of government. He was the first deputy of Ahmed Galeb ar-Rahawi, who was killed in the Israeli strike.
