Crocodile ate an 11-year-old boy in front of his father

In the Indonesian province of Maluku, a heartbreaking tragedy occurred - an 11-year-old boy became the victim of a crocodile attack during a routine family trip to the sea. Information about this shocking incident was reported by the VOI.id portal.

Sarfin Bantam went to the coast with an ordinary purpose - to collect fish left on the shore after the tide. His son Fiki and the boy's friend named Onyong decided to join him. Sensing danger, on the way back the father strongly warned the children to stay away from the water, but curiosity prevailed - the boys ignored the warning and approached the shoreline.

The idyll of the coastal walk was suddenly shattered by desperate screams. A frightened Onyong rushed to Bantam, who immediately ran to the scene. However, on the shore, the father found only his son's flashlight. For the last time, Fiki momentarily appeared on the surface of the water before an unknown force dragged him into the sea depths. Bantam has no doubt - it was a crocodile.

In desperation, the man called for his son and prayed for his rescue for about ten minutes, after which he returned home to inform his wife about what happened. The family, together with neighbors, immediately organized a search operation, which, unfortunately, did not yield results.

The next morning, police officers joined the search, but Fiki's body was never found. In an attempt to find the boy, the villagers even conducted a traditional fire ceremony, but this ritual also proved fruitless, according to the source.
