Voting has begun in Armenia in the parliamentary elections
Voting in the regular parliamentary elections began in Armenia at 08:00 local time (which coincides with Baku time).
As reported by BAKU.WS, 2 million 485 thousand 851 people are eligible to vote in the country.
A total of 2 thousand 5 polling stations were supposed to open across the country. Based on the results of the voting, which will last until 20:00, among other things, a new Prime Minister of Armenia will be determined.
A total of 18 political forces are participating in the elections — two blocs and 16 parties. A 4-percent threshold is established for parties to enter parliament, while for blocs it is 8% (up to two parties) and 10% (more than two parties). No voter turnout threshold is required.
