The head coach of "Sabah" shared his expectations for the return match of the Champions League

"Sabah" can be considered the favorite of the second leg of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round against Finnish club "KuPS".

As reported by Oxu.Az, head coach of the "owls" Valdas Dambrauskas stated this at the press conference dedicated to the upcoming match.

The specialist emphasized that a difficult away encounter awaits his team.

"We are very happy to be in Finland. As you know, after the first game the score difference is minimal, and I think both teams have chances to advance to the next stage. The victory in the first match allows us to be considered slight favorites. At the same time, we understand that in the Champions League, as well as in European competitions in general, no away match is ever easy," he said.

According to V. Dambrauskas, the opponent will be extremely motivated and will put in maximum effort.

"We also need to match the level of their fight, stick to our playing style, and do what we do best. We know well how our team can play," noted the Masakyr-based team's coach.

As a reminder, the first match between "Sabah" and "KuPS," which took place last week in Baku, ended with a 1:0 victory for the Azerbaijani club. The second leg will take place tomorrow and will kick off at 19:00 Baku time.
