Azerbaijani wrestlers returned home after a successful performance at the World Championship

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestlers who performed successfully at the World Championship in Astana (Kazakhstan) have returned to their homeland.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, a ceremonial welcome for the athletes was held at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

Representatives of the sports community, media, fans, and family members of the athletes attended the event.

As a reminder, at the Greco-Roman Wrestling World Championship, Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg) and Sanan Suleymanov (77 kg) won gold medals, while Nihat Mammadli (63 kg) became a silver medalist.
