World Championship: Azerbaijani wrestler Isfahan Hasanov advances to the final

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Isfahan Hasanov has reached the final of the U-17 World Championship in Baku.

As Report informs, the athlete competing in the up to 80 kg weight category defeated Lithuania's Benediktas Bubelevičius (4:2) in the semifinal and advanced to the decisive stage.

Tomorrow Isfahan Hasanov will compete for the gold medal.

It should be noted that in the quarterfinal, the athlete defeated Turkey's Abdulhalik Bal with a score of 5:2.

Earlier, Hasanov defeated Croatia's Toma Jelenč (6:0) in the qualification round, and Poland's Szymon Treder (1:1) in the round of 16.
