As is known, the Armenian parliament ratified the framework agreement with the United States on the TRIPP project (Trump's Route for International Peace and Prosperity in the region).

But is it possible to launch the route before signing a peace agreement?

Commenting on this issue on Baku TV, Armenologist Professor Gafar Chahmaghly stated that the ratification of the agreement by the Armenian parliament is an important stage for the beginning of preparatory work on the implementation of this project.

According to him, despite the opposition voting against it in parliament, the agreement was approved. A company has already been established and financial resources have been allocated for the implementation of the project.

In Gafar Chahmaghly's opinion, its implementation before the signing of a peace agreement is possible. At the same time, launching the route without a final agreement between the two countries could lead to serious problems in the future.

The professor noted that the project envisages the construction of a railway, oil and gas pipelines, a highway, and an energy corridor. According to him, these issues need to be coordinated with Azerbaijan.
