As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by Turkish journalist and expert Metehan Demir on Haber Global TV channel, commenting on the congratulatory message of President Ilham Aliyev to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The expert also responded to disinformation and provocative claims on social media aimed at undermining relations between the two states.

Demir particularly emphasized that the allied relations between Baku and Ankara have deep historical roots and will continue to endure in the future.
