Organized by YARAT Contemporary Art Space, the ENQRAM exhibition opened at the Azerbaijan Museum of Painting, encompassing Azerbaijani art from the 1950s to the present day and composed of selected private collections of the 20th-21st centuries.

As reported by AZERTAC, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Alyona Aliyeva attended the event and toured the exhibition.

The exhibition, curated by Aida Mahmudova and Farah Alekberli, brought together material traces of the artistic and cultural changes that shaped Azerbaijan's 20th-century culture and continue to influence the country's visual arts today.

ENGRAM is a physical trace that ensures the preservation of lived experience in memory. Based on this concept, the exhibition presents painting as a space in which individual perception and historical experience take material form.

The transitional stages of Azerbaijani art are revealed through formal decisions, demonstrating how inherited visual languages are preserved, tested for resilience, and undergo transformation.

Collecting is also part of the process of preserving memory. Each collection is built on personal attachments and preferences, reflecting a distinctive sense of the artistic significance of works of art. ENGRAM, bringing works together in a single exhibition, elevates individual perspectives into a plane of dialogue. The exhibition invites reflection on how a work becomes a carrier of the memory of its era and how each encounter with it alters that memory.

The exhibition features paintings, graphic works, and sculptures by Aida Mahmudova, Altay Sadyghzadeh, Abdul Khalig, Ashraf Murad, Javad Mirjavadov, Farhad Khalilov, Gennady Brizhatyuk, Huseyn Hagverdiyev, Kamal Ahmed, Mahmud Rustamov, Mahmud Tagiyev, Mikail Abdullayev, Museyib Amirov, Niyaz Najafov, Gorkhmaz Efendiyev, Rasim Babayev, Rashad Babayev, Sattar Bahlulzadeh, Tahir Salahov, Tagi Tagiyev, Tofig Javadov, Togrul Narimanbekov, and Ujal Hagverdiyev.

As part of the exhibition, a musical performance by AISEL titled "SUBLIMINALS Manifestation Experience" was presented.
