A famous singer Haluk Levent has been detained in Turkey

As part of an investigation conducted by the Chief Republican Prosecutor's Office of Istanbul, Turkey, into the charitable organization Ahbap, an arrest warrant has been issued for its leader, the well-known rock performer Haluk Levent.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Turkish media, the musician was detained in the city of Bursa. He is being transferred to Istanbul for the necessary procedural actions.

The detention was carried out by officers of the Financial Crimes Division of the Istanbul Police Department.

H. Levent has been charged with violating the law on the activities of public associations, laundering of criminally obtained funds, and participation in a criminal organization.
