Panama resident caught a cubera snapper 126 centimeters long and broke the world record

Panama resident Tony Peiro caught a giant cubera snapper measuring 126 centimeters in length, breaking the world record. This was reported by Outdoor Life magazine.
The fisherman made his record catch while fishing at the Los Buzos resort. The fish he caught was six centimeters longer than the previous record. Now the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) must officially confirm the new achievement.
According to the organization's rules, the length of a record fish must exceed the previous result by at least one centimeter, so Peiro is confident in his victory. The Los Buzos resort has long been famous for outstanding catches - according to Outdoor Life, more than 30 world records have been registered there.
