IRGC: Iran Destroyed Hangars with F-35 Fighter Jets at U.S. Air Bases

In response to US strikes, Iran's air force struck American military bases in the Middle East and destroyed hangars housing F-35 fighter jets.

"Destroyed four important targets, including hangars with F-35 fighter jets at an air base and a US Army command and control center in Az-Zubaida in Jordan," the publication states.

In addition, Iran hit 21 targets at American air and naval bases and also destroyed an MQ9 drone.

Furthermore, Iranian military forces attacked the US 5th Fleet forces stationed in Bahrain using UAVs. This attack was carried out in response to US strikes, according to the Iranian TV channel Press TV.

"In response to this hostile act by the enemy, the IRGC naval forces conducted a drone attack at 2:30 against the 5th Fleet naval forces in Bahrain," the publication on the media outlet's website states.

The TV channel also cites an IRGC statement about strikes on several US bases in the region. At the same time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a release stating that two water reservoirs were destroyed and a telecommunications mast was damaged following the US attacks.

The US armed forces intercepted nearly all missiles and UAVs launched by Iran, Reuters reported in turn, citing a US administration official.

According to the official, the interception of virtually all ballistic missiles and drones launched by Iran at American bases is indicated by the results of a preliminary assessment. Earlier, Axios journalist Barak Ravid reported on X, citing a US official, that Iran launched at least four ballistic missiles and several UAVs at American bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan.
