Azerbaijan's national chovgan team became world champion

The Azerbaijan national chovgan team advanced to the final match of the 2nd World Championship held in Baku.

As reported by AZERTAC, in the decisive match the team faced the national team of Chile. The match ended with a victory for the Azerbaijani side with a score of 3:0. Thus, our country's national chovgan team became the world champion.

After the match, an award ceremony was held for the team. Medals were presented to the winners by the President of the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan Elchin Guliyev, the President of the International Chovgan Federation Bakhruz Nabiyev, and General Secretary Maciej Michel Olbrich.

Third place was taken by the team of Uruguay, which defeated the Niger national team with a score of 3:2.
