Children in Denmark were poisoned by cannabis candies found on the street

In the Danish province of North Zealand, several children had to be hospitalized after they ate jelly candies that likely contained cannabis.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the Ekstra Bladet portal, this was announced by the police.
According to law enforcement, six children aged 6 to 12 found a sports bag near garbage containers, which contained a package of gummy bears. Some of the children ate the candies, which, as it turned out, contained tetrahydrocannabinol - a psychoactive substance found in cannabis. Ambulances were called to the scene, and several children were taken to the hospital for examination.
The North Zealand police refused to specify exactly how many children were affected and what condition they are in. Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into the crime against life and health, but have not yet detained anyone.
Recall that in May in the Netherlands, two children and several adults became ill after consuming popular Haribo jelly candies. Initially, it was suspected that cannabis had gotten into the candies, but a more detailed examination did not confirm this.
