Elon Musk's robot demonstrated kung fu to Jared Leto

Tesla's humanoid robot Optimus made its first public appearance, walking the red carpet in Hollywood. During the event dedicated to the premiere of the film "Tron: Ares," the robot demonstrated several kung-fu moves to actor Jared Leto. The video of their interaction was published on the official Optimus page on the social network X.
The development of the robot, also known as Tesla Bot, was officially presented in October 2024. However, the idea of creating a universal humanoid assistant was first voiced by company head Elon Musk back in August 2021.
Musk previously announced plans to establish mass production of the device, noting that its retail cost would range from $20,000 to $30,000. He also emphasized that the Optimus project could potentially become more significant for Tesla in the future than its automotive division.
The film "Tron: Ares" is a science fiction movie directed by Joachim Rønning, starring Jared Leto and Evan Peters. The premiere is scheduled for October 8, 2025.
