Trump lashed out at the U.S. Supreme Court

U.S. President Donald Trump sharply criticized the Supreme Court, whose conservative majority he himself helped shape.

The head of state wrote about this on his social network Truth Social, commenting on the court's decision to strike down his executive order on mail-in voting.

The American leader criticized the justices for decisions made in 2026 that overturned his orders. Trump claimed that three members of the court whose nominations he had previously put forward are under the control of the Democrats. He did not name them.

"These are not the same people I personally interviewed when selecting candidates for the U.S. Supreme Court. They are merely shadows of their former selves. This is a court that is costing the U.S. trillions of dollars due to shockingly poor decisions, the scale of which is so vast that our country will not easily recover or heal the wounds," the head of state wrote.

"This is a court that will go down in history as having rendered some of the most destructive, painful, and detrimental decisions in the history of our country. It is not easy for me to write this criticism of the U.S. Supreme Court. It will probably cost me dearly in the years ahead, but I consider it my obligation and duty as President to do this for the America we love!" Trump added.

The American president also criticized the Supreme Court for striking down his executive orders related to "birth tourism" and the tightening of customs tariffs.

"Some justices are terrified of these insane and vicious Democrats and are completely incapable of showing the courage needed to save our America," he noted.
