Beaches are closing in Egypt due to a massive shark invasion
In Egypt, beaches were closed due to sharks that dangerously approached the coast of Hurghada and the Makadi resort. This was reported by the SHOT Telegram channel.
According to the source, the shark invasion caused the temporary closure of beaches at approximately ten hotels, including five-star properties such as Labranda Royal Makadi, Cleopatra Luxury Beach, and Stella Makadi. At some of these locations, the ban has already been lifted.
Tourists planning trips to Egypt are also being warned about sharks. For instance, one vacationer who was booking a tour for November was informed that predators had been spotted near the resort shores. Specialists clarified that tiger and bull sharks, which are considered particularly dangerous to humans, can be encountered in these waters.
