13 people have been brought to criminal liability in connection with the armed incident in Baku

In connection with the armed incident in Baku's Khatai district, 13 people have been charged with criminal offenses.

As reported to BAKU.WS by the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan, an investigation is being conducted into the murder of Jalal Miryagub oglu Miragayev, known in criminal circles by the nickname "Jeyhun Sabunchu."

The Khatai District Prosecutor's Office has opened a criminal case under Article 120.1 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan — premeditated murder.

According to the preliminary investigation, a dispute arose between Miragayev and Emin Goshgar oglu Rahimov, nicknamed "Sabunchu Emin," over a debt.

To settle the disagreement, a meeting was organized around midnight on October 23 at a restaurant with the participation of other individuals linked to the criminal environment. During the meeting, the conflict escalated into a physical confrontation and a fight, accompanied by a gross violation of public order.
