The administration of US President Donald Trump, under pressure from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, may launch a nuclear strike on Iran in the coming days.
This is claimed by American journalist Tucker Carlson.
"Under pressure from Netanyahu, the Trump administration may launch a nuclear strike on Iran within days," Carlson wrote on X. The journalist named Mount Pickaxe as a possible target for the strike, where, according to Israeli intelligence claims, Iran may have resumed its uranium enrichment program.
Carlson emphasized that no weapon is capable of penetrating the nearly 100-meter protection of the facility, which is why "the only option is a nuclear strike." According to his information, Netanyahu is allegedly pushing hard for this due to the precarious political situation following the recent parliamentary elections in Israel.
The journalist noted that Trump has apparently not yet made a decision regarding a possible strike and is consulting with his advisors, including Vice President JD Vance and his special envoy Steve Witkoff, who still favor reaching a deal with Iran.
Iran has repeatedly stated that Trump's claims about an alleged new nuclear facility in the Islamic Republic are baseless.
