Yuri Ushakov, aide to the President of the Russian Federation, did not rule out that the dates of the trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi could be announced as early as this week.
This was reported by Russian media.
"We have begun the process of discussing possible dates with the Americans for holding trilateral negotiations between Russia, the USA, and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi," the Kremlin representative noted.
"We are discussing the dates. These will be November dates; we have already started discussing specifics," he added.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that trilateral negotiations involving representatives of the USA, Russia, and Ukraine could take place in the near future. The head of the White House expressed confidence that both sides want to reach a deal.
