Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed gratitude to Ilham Aliyev for strengthening the fraternal bonds of Turkic peoples during Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the OTS

I express my deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the esteemed Ilham Aliyev, for the significant work carried out by Azerbaijan during its chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) to strengthen the fraternal bonds of Turkic peoples and elevate our relations to a new level.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Oxu.Az, this was stated by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the XIII meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the OTS.

The President of Uzbekistan also expressed confidence that Turkey, assuming the chairmanship of the OTS, will contribute to deepening economic cooperation and the practical implementation of new initiatives. He wished President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan success in fulfilling this mission.

In addition, Mirziyoyev announced his readiness to host the next summit of the organization next year in Uzbekistan.
