Durov announced the opening of an artificial intelligence laboratory in Kazakhstan
Telegram messenger creator Pavel Durov announced the launch of a specialized artificial intelligence laboratory called Alem AI in Kazakhstan.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Tengrinews.kz, he announced this during his speech at the Digital Bridge 2025 forum in Astana.
"I proudly announce that today we are opening a specialized artificial intelligence laboratory - Alem AI - here, in this building," said Durov.
According to him, the first project will be a collaboration between Telegram and Kazakhstan's supercomputer cluster.
"For the past few months, we have been working on a new technology that combines blockchain and AI. It will allow more than a billion people to use artificial intelligence features generated by a decentralized computer system privately," Durov noted.
