War and a Sharp Rise in Gold Prices: What Nostradamus Predicted for 2027

Researchers studying the works of French astrologer and prophet Nostradamus have discovered possible prophecies for 2027 in his quatrains.

According to some interpreters, the 27th quatrain of each "Century" allegedly contains predictions for the corresponding year. In these texts, they identified hints of changes in the Middle East, the emergence of a force "from Persia," armed conflicts near the Black Sea, as well as large-scale forest fires and a mysterious "celestial fire" moving from the west and south to the east.

In addition, interpreters link the quatrains to possible economic upheavals: rising prices of gold and silver, depreciation of securities, and increasing debt burdens. Some interpretations also point to possible political turmoil in France amid a struggle for the presidency.

However, Alexei Penzensky, a candidate of historical sciences, questioned the validity of such interpretations and the linking of ancient texts to specific dates. In his opinion, such readings are more of an attempt to draw attention to well-known prophecies than reliable predictions of future events.

The expert also raised the question of why specifically the 27th quatrain is associated with 2027 and not, for example, with 1927.

As an example, Penzensky suggested looking at a prediction from the third "Century," which interpreters associate with 2026. It mentions the revival of pagan cults and ritual practices. However, according to the historian, there are only two months left until the end of the year, and no signs of such phenomena have been observed so far.
