Protesters gathered at the Nepal parliament building in Kathmandu demanding the government's resignation.

Participants of the protest broke into the residence of Nepal's president and set it on fire. The private residence of Prime Minister Sharma Oli in the city of Balkot was also damaged, as well as several residences of ministers and politicians.

The cause of citizens' discontent was the restrictions imposed on September 4 regarding several social networks.
