Ex-Prime Minister of Nepal's wife died after protesters attacked their home

The wife of ex-Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba, the country's Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba has died after an attack by protesters, TASS reports.

On September 9, protesters beat Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife, Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba.

Protesters gathered at the Nepal parliament building in Kathmandu demanding the government's resignation.

Participants of the protest broke into the residence of Nepal's president and set it on fire. The private residence of Prime Minister Sharma Oli in the city of Balkot was also damaged, as well as several residences of ministers and politicians.

The cause of citizens' discontent was the restrictions imposed on September 4 regarding several social networks.
