Nobel Prize in Physics 2025 Laureates Announced
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced the names of the Nobel Prize in Physics laureates for 2025. The prestigious award was received by John Clark, Michelle Devora, and John Martins for their outstanding contribution to the development of quantum physics. This information appeared in the official account of the Nobel Prize on the social network X.
In 2024, the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to American scientist John J. Hopfield and British researcher Geoffrey E. Hinton. The award was given for fundamental discoveries and inventions that significantly expanded the capabilities of machine learning using neural networks.
A year earlier, in 2023, the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to French-American scientist Pierre Agostini, Hungarian-Austrian researcher Ferenc Krausz, and French scientist Anne L'Huillier. They were recognized "for experimental methods that generate attosecond light pulses for the study of electron dynamics in matter."
