In Baku, an entrepreneur has been detained for committing hooliganism and resisting the lawful demands of police officers.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Qafqazinfo, the incident occurred in the Binagadi district of the capital.

Several days ago, during daytime hours, a traffic police patrol stopped a truck for inspection. The driver, named Sarkhan, was informed that at that time of day, the movement of heavy vehicles with a load capacity exceeding 8 tons is prohibited in certain zones of Baku.

The driver immediately contacted the vehicle's owner — 34-year-old Kazyim Kerimov (name and surname changed), a native of the Jabrayil district. The entrepreneur spoke harshly to the inspectors over the phone, voicing his complaints, and then, identifying himself as "a man" of one of the generals, resorted to direct insults.

Shortly after, K. Kerimov personally arrived at Akhmed Rajabli Street, where he provoked an open conflict with the police officers. The unruly vehicle owner was immediately detained. A medical examination revealed that he was in a state of alcohol intoxication.

The materials of the administrative report drawn up against the businessman were submitted to the Binagadi District Court, which ruled to sentence the offender to 10 days of administrative detention.
