Trump made an important statement about Putin
US President Donald Trump once again expressed disappointment in Russian leader Vladimir Putin, noting that the war between Russia and Ukraine has turned out to be much more complex than the conflict in the Middle East.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to foreign media, Trump stated this to journalists in the White House on the eve of his meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
According to the American president, initially he believed that resolving this conflict would be the easiest - including thanks to his, as he noted, good relations with Vladimir Putin.
"I am very disappointed in him. I thought this conflict could be resolved easily. But it turned out to be more complex than the one in the Middle East. We'll see what happens next," Trump said.
In addition, the head of the White House reported that he expects to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea soon and accused the Democratic Party of disruptions in the work of the US government.
