What percentage of Russians trust Putin? - Rating published

According to the latest data from the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM), the approval rating of Vladimir Putin as the President of the Russian Federation has shown positive dynamics. Over the past week, the head of state's rating increased by one percentage point and reached an impressive mark of 83 percent.
The updated research results, published on the official FOM website, indicate a high level of support for the president among the population. Only seven percent of the surveyed Russian citizens expressed a negative attitude toward the work of the head of state, while ten percent of respondents found it difficult to answer.
The study also addressed the issue of trust in the president. On this indicator, Vladimir Putin received support from 82 percent of survey participants. Nine percent of respondents do not trust the head of state, and the same number of respondents could not determine their answer.
As specified in the FOM materials, the sociological study was conducted from March 28 to 30 in 97 settlements located in 51 regions of the Russian Federation. The survey involved 1,500 adult citizens. The statistical margin of error of the results does not exceed 3.6 percent.
