A rapper known in Russia as a foreign agent has died in a crash
Rapper Fuze Krec (Artem Brovkov - real name) has died at the age of 46.
This was announced by his wife Valentina Berezkina on Instagram.
According to her, Brovkov was involved in a terrible car accident. Doctors fought for the artist's life but were unable to save him.
"I ask you to remember and treat with respect everything he did for the world in every sense of the word. I love him very much and I don't know other people as kind and honest as him," the singer's wife said.
Artem Brovkov (better known as Fuze and Krec) was the founder and permanent member of the iconic St. Petersburg rap group Krec (since 2001, originally Kitchen Records). He authored most of the lyrics, and after the departure of other members (Assai, Smoky Mo), he continued the project on his own.
Fuze is known as one of the classics of Russian rap of the 2000s, the author and performer of songs such as "Tenderness" (soundtrack to the film "Piter FM"), "Barely Breathing," "Down the River," and "Fragments."
It should be noted that in March 2025, the Russian Ministry of Justice added him to the register of foreign agents.
