President of Azerbaijan: There is no need to protect Armenia from us, we have achieved what we wanted
We had no intention of destroying Armenia or taking away its independence.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with residents of the city of Zangilan.
"Today, European so-called observers are still supposedly standing guard on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border. I said back then as well, if we fire even once, they will only show us their heels, there won't be a trace of them left. But they behave as if they are protecting Armenia from us. There is no need to protect Armenia from us. We have achieved what we wanted," the head of state noted.
