"Sabah" became the winner of the Azerbaijan Cup

The final match of the 2025/26 Azerbaijan Football Cup took place, featuring Masazır-based "Sabah" and Baku-based "Zira".

As reported by Oxu.Az, the game was held at the capital's Palms Sports Arena stadium and ended with a victory for the Absheron club with a score of 2:1.

In the 4th minute, "Eagles" player Eren Aydın scored with a precise strike. In the 70th minute, "Owls" forward Patrick Mbina equalized the score. In the 90+1 minute, Joy-Lance Mickels scored the winning goal for the Masazır club.

Thus, "Sabah" became the winner of the Azerbaijan Cup for the first time in its history.
