A tax inspector has been arrested in Ganja

In Ganja, a tax inspector has been detained and placed in custody on charges of accepting a bribe.

As reported by lent.az, Rufat Famlet oglu Aliyev, an employee of the Main Territorial Tax Administration No. 12 of the State Tax Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was detained by officers of the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General.

A criminal case has been opened against him under Article 311.2 (acceptance of a bribe by an official for illegal actions (inaction)) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General submitted a motion to the court to impose a preventive measure of arrest against R. Aliyev.

By a court decision dated October 29, a preventive measure of arrest for a period of 4 months was imposed on Rufat Aliyev. However, according to available information, he has filed an appeal against this preventive measure.
