The FIFA U-15 World Cup and festival were met with great interest from participants and the football community.

As reported by Oxu.Az, this was stated by FIFA's Director of Global Football Development Arsène Wenger in his comment to the organization's press service.

He noted that the tournament format revealed that the differences between teams turned out to be smaller than expected:

"Everyone fell in love with this tournament and wants it to take place again as soon as possible. Overall, we see that football is played all over the world, and the gap between big and small countries is not as large as we expected. The reduction in the number of players on the pitch contributes to this to a certain extent. At the same time, the intensity of competition and the dedication of the players in every match were very high."

The official FIFA representative emphasized that the competition created conditions for developing players' ability for attention and concentration, as well as for showcasing their technical skills.

"This playing format demands a high level of attention and concentration from the players. They also developed these qualities. The technical level was very high. Overall, we observed many quick transitions from one part of the pitch to another. This format reduces the waiting time required in 11-a-side play. As soon as a team gains possession of the ball, it can immediately organize a dangerous attack. This constantly keeps the fans' attention on the game and allows them to enjoy football," he added.

It should be noted that in the final of the FIFA U-15 World Cup and festival organized in Baku, the Spanish national team defeated the Czech Republic 3:0, becoming the tournament winners.
