Attention readers: official social media accounts of President Ilham Aliyev

Videos using footage featuring President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev are being published on social networks. When viewing such materials, it is important to pay attention to the account where they are posted and to the original source.

Modern technologies make it possible to create a social media account, upload any video, edit images, and replace the audio track. Artificial intelligence can also be used to imitate a person's voice and attribute words to them that they never said. Therefore, the presence of the head of state in the footage alone does not confirm the authenticity of the material or the official status of the page that published it.
