From this date, rainfall will intensify, flooding is expected — WARNING

Rain is expected in Azerbaijan starting from April 4, with precipitation intensifying in some areas.

This was reported by BAKU.WS with reference to the National Hydrometeorological Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

In Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, rain is expected from the morning of April 4 until the afternoon of April 6. In some parts of the peninsula, precipitation may intensify, and on the afternoon of April 4, brief downpours and thunderstorms are possible. Heavy rains may affect suburban areas prone to flooding.

In the western regions of Azerbaijan, rain is expected from the morning of April 4 until the morning of April 7, with intense precipitation in some places, in the eastern regions - downpours with thunderstorms, hail, and in mountainous areas - snow.

A rise in river water levels is not excluded, as well as short-term floods and mudflows on some mountain rivers, especially in the rivers of the Guba-Gusar region.

On the afternoon of April 7 and 8, a brief break in precipitation is possible, however, rains will resume starting from April 9.

It should be noted that during the first ten days of April, the weather across the country will be changeable, with precipitation.
